Session 1 | MT4 Practical Workshop: Getting Started & Basic Order Execution

Learning Outcome: Independently log into MT4, analyse charts, place market and pending orders, and set Stop Loss and Take Profit levels.

• Stop Loss, Take Profit, and Trailing Stop Demonstration

In-Class Demonstration: Complete walkthrough of a trade from entry to exit.

Assignment: Execute three different types of trades on a demo account (submit screenshots).

Session 2 | From Candlesticks to Indicators: Pattern Recognition & Market Structure

Learning Outcome: Identify high-probability candlestick patterns and understand how ATR, RSI, and Bollinger Bands assist with entries and stop placement.

• Pin bars
• Hammer / Shooting Star
• Double Top / Double Bottom
• Range breakout strategies
• ATR, RSI, Bollinger Bands
• Multi-timeframe analysis

In-Class Demonstration: Analysis of recent live market examples, marking entry points and stop placements based on pattern and indicator confluence.

Assignment: Submit one annotated chart identifying at least two patterns, with justification for entry and stop placement.

Session 3 | Risk Management & Position Sizing: Protecting Your Capital

Learning Outcome: Calculate position size using simple formulas, determine maximum per-trade loss, define daily drawdown tolerance, understand the Calmar Ratio, and maintain a structured trading journal.

• Risk per trade (% of account balance)
• Maximum daily drawdown
• Position sizing calculations
• Converting stop-loss distance into lot size based on risk budget
• Live execution rules
• Trading psychology and discipline

In-Class Demonstration: How to complete a Trading Journal and compare risk exposure under different position sizes using live examples.

Assignment: Submit your completed Trading SOP and Trading Journal.
